About us:
My name is Jessica. My mother Isabell and I show and breed Papillons. We live in central PA near Penn State University. Papillons are the
only breed that we raise. The dogs all live in our homes. They get lots of stimulation with obedience training and some with agility. We dual
register our dogs with the AKC and UKC and show in both forums.
We only place our puppies into proper homes...NO Puppy Mills or Petstores. All our pet Papillons are sold on a spay/neuter agreement.
Sometimes we have show Papillons for sale to approved homes. Occassionally we will have an adult for sale and they will already be spayed or
neutered prior to going to their new homes. Please read our pet health guarantee/contract.

About our name:
The papillon is believed to be from France. In fact, papillon in French means 'butterfly'. And the papillon counterpart, the phalene (with
dropped ears instead of erect) means 'moth' in French. So our name JeMaBella is loosely translated in French meaning My Beautiful. Plus it's
also parts of our names...Je for Jessica, Ma for Mayes (our last name), and Bella for Isabell. So that's how we came up with JeMaBella Papillons.
A note about buying a dog:
Please be sure you take your time and research not only the dog you are looking at buying, but also the breeder. Reputable breeders will have
their dogs registered with the AKC or UKC. They will not just give anyone unlimited registration. All pets should be sold on limited registration
and spay/neuter required to help control the pet population (like Bob Barker used to say!) Please know what to look for in a puppy mill and
DON'T purchase from them or pet stores which perpetuate the puppy mill problem. If a breeder sells to pet stores, has dogs that they don't
have health records for, breeds many different types of dogs, doesn't have them registered or only registered with a CKC or APRI registery, or
they won't let you see the parents or their kennel or home, then PLEASE don't buy from them! There are some 'breeders' out there that are
only breeding for money and have no concern for the dogs or the breed itself. Please only buy from reputable breeders!
